Work is keeping me super busy so I apologize for the lack of posts, sadly life does get in the way sometimes. But, on the plus side, our family vacation destination for the year is finally decided upon. And the verdict is….UTAH. Courtesy of our timeshare, we will be staying at Westgate Park City Resort. This may seem boring, but we like to visit a new place every year and it’s one my bucket list to visit every state in America. So this brings me to my question of the day. Does anyone know cool things to do/see and places to eat in Utah? We have a whole week and I’m open to anything. Adventure and fine dining is always welcome!

I did a photo shoot a few weeks back for a photographer friend of mine. Normally I’m the makeup artist, but he asked me to play model this time. James took the image above to send to the designer of my gown. It was made by Belinda of Romantic Threads on Etsy, you can order it here. She does amazing work and I LOVED wearing it, I even wore it in the food store! People were staring and complimenting the gown and I loved every minute of it. I went to Belinda’s shop a minute ago and I saw she posted the image there and on her Facebook page. I’ve never seen an image of myself on someone else’s website, I’m a staaaaaahhhhhhhhr baby!!!! But seriously, check out Belinda’s shop for all your fantasy gown needs. She uses the finest fabrics and her detailing is superb! I’ll be using one of the shots for my about page, tis very stush no?
Surprise presenter for Michelle Obama for Best Picture, The Oscars 2013! She looks amazing!
Love this Pangea Bongo side table from One Kings Lane
I spent my Sunday doing laundry, making spaghetti, baking a “Weight Watchers” cake (cake mix and diet soda), and playing video games with my beaux. Normally Sunday video games consist of massive amounts zombie killing, but today we decided to take a walk down memory lane and play Space Channel 5 for Xbox. This is seriously one of the coolest games ever, where else can you have a dance battle to save the universe? While I never got to play the game “back in the day”, I can say for sure that this game is so totally me. From the colours, to the cool characters (Michael Jackson is in it!!!), to Ulala’s fabulous costume changes, Space Channel 5 is visual kaleidescope of retro fun.

I spent last week Tuesday with this little guy. I am soooooo not a bug person, but I had to get a picture of it with its lunch. More on where we were later. Work has been keeping me busy these past few days.
